About Santa Bob

When they are not busy at the North Pole, Santa Claus Bob Partlow and Mrs. Dee Claus stay in the Olympia area getting ready for the big day.

Santa Bob has bags full of experience caring for and about children and would love to share the spirit of Christmas with the young and the young at heart at your next party or event.

Santa Bob – and sometimes Mrs. Claus, when she’s not baking cookies – is available throughout Western Washington for all kinds of parties, gatherings, photo-shoots, readings and appearances. He's even done gender-reveal events!

A former radio announcer and reporter, and an experienced and engaging public speaker, Santa Bob has traveled from the North Pole to area malls, tree-lighting ceremonies, conferences and business functions. He is adept at dealing with unexpected situations and questions. He and Mrs. Claus are former foster parents with a special place in their hearts for children in stressful situations. Their work has taken them to food banks, domestic violence shelters, hospitals and foster care events.

The Claus family keeps the spirit of Christmas in their hearts all year, making appearances events like Christmas in July at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park, a fundraiser for the Rick Rizz Toys for Kids Foundation. All year, Mrs. Claus sets aside toys and books made by the elves for area children in need. And the Clauses have spearheaded such projects as a NORPAC Santas fund drive to replace children’s toys lost in hurricanes in Texas and Florida.

Even though Santa is well over 1,700 years old, Santa Bob believes he’s still got things to learn! That’s why he and Mrs. Claus went to school. They earned their Bachelor of Santa Claus degrees from the University of Santa Claus, operated by Tim Connaghan, the nationally recognized “Hollywood Santa.” They also have attended many Santa conferences to keep learning.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are members of two professional Santa Claus organizations, NORPAC Santas and IBRBS (the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas). The Clauses are background-checked for the safety and well-being of children and have been vaccinated for covid and flu.
